Jo Flack has decided to quit Billericay Town, and looks set to follow Matt Game and Lynvall Duncan to local rivals Braintree Town. Brian Statham said "We've been in discusssion with Jo for several weeks, and we are clearly disappointed that he is going. The Chairman and I have been working very hard to convince him to stay. We offered him the best deal we could, but ultimately Jo has decided that a move is best for him." Since Flack is under 24, Billericay Town will be due financial compensation from whichever team he signs for. |

Brian Statham said "Ashley won the players and supporters Player of the Season awards, so he's obviously got a big future ahead of him. He plays in the same position I did, so hopefully I can help him along in his career." |

We are pleased to announce that Billy Bricknell will remain a Billericay Town player next season. Brian Statham said "It's great news Billy is staying. He's a hard-working and honest player, and his goalscoring record speaks for itself. I did actuallly try and sign him for Heybridge Swifts before he came to Billericay, so I know all about him." |

We are please to confirm that Dave Wareham and Paul Shave will both be back at the Club next season. Brian Statham said "I'm pleased both of them are staying. Obviously I know Dave from his time at Heybridge Swifts, and I was sorry to lose him then. I'm looking forward to working with him again. And I've heard good things about Paul Shave, he's a bit of a crowd favourite - winning player of the month twice towards the end of the season." |

Midfielder Matt Game has decided to leave the Club. Game, 24, who missed most of the last two seasons with a broken leg, before returning to first team action in the final game of the season at Maidstone, is expected to sign for Blue Square South side Braintree Town. Manager Brian Statham said "I'm very disappointed that Matt has decided to leave, as he was very much part of my plans for next season. We asked him what we could do to persuade him to stay, but he says he is leaving purely for footballing reasons and feels that he must take this opportunity to test himself at a higher level. The Chairman is also extremely disappointed, having waited patiently for Matt to recover for so long."
