Billericay Ladies lose to top of the League South East Combination Enfield Town in the semi final of the Le Senza Cup at New Lodge Wednesday 18/03/09

A much improved Billericay performance saw them push runaway league leaders all the way on Saturday. Big spending Dover have dominated this season's league from the beginning and could be  champions before the end of the month if results go there way. They were made to work hard for a win by a Billericay side who passed the ball much better than in recent weeks, with the major difference between the two sides being that Dover were able to introduce players from the bench who could change the game.

Having spoken to the Chairman over the past couple of months we discussed on numerous occasions me doing a Manager's blog and having heard various comments in the crowd and seen various comments on the forum, both negative and positive, I thought now is as good a time as any.

17 year-old Rushden & Diamonds centre-back Jack Higgins has joined us on loan, and will be available for tomorrow's home game against Dover Athletic.
