Billericay suffered semi-final disappointment in the league cup on Saturday. After a first half in which a patched up team gave a good account of themselves, and Jo Flack missed a penalty, Billericay went down to two second half goals as Tilbury reached the final.
Billericay Town have signed 23 year old midfielder Jon Docker. Jon has played for Sheffield United, Northampton Town, RJC Waalwijk, Dorchester Town, Grays Athletic and Hitchin Town.
He made his Billericay debut in Tuesday night's 2-0 defeat at Tilbury in the League Cup semi-final, partnering Leon Hunter in centre-midfield.
This evening, Billericay Town take on Tilbury in the Ryman League Cup semi-final. To get to this stage of the competition, the team have beaten Enfield Town, Waltham Abbey, AFC Hornchurch and Ryman Premier League leaders Dover Athletic.
Steven Ferguson was released and he promptly moved to Tonbridge Angels. We never got to see the best of him in my opinion, which is a great shame. Fergie is a player who always gives a 100%. When we signed him we fully expected him to be playing in-front of David McSweeney, so like Chris Whelpdale two season ago and Bradley last season we would have had a formidable attacking option down the right, but the loss of Macca meant that Fergie was required to get into positions and do things that were alien to him which made him far less effective. As I said above, he always gave a 100%, and he is a great lad, but in the end a move was the right thing for both club and player. Good luck Fergie.
Essex Pelly Under 18's Cup semi final. Stanway Rovers U18s 3-0 Billericay Town U18s Sunday 14th March - 11:00.

Paul Moody and I are so very proud of the great effort all the lads put in to this important game today. And especially to see how far some of the lads have come this season. This was by far our most important match so far this season, but unfortunately it was not our strongest performance, for many a reasons.
I would also like to add, and without taking anything away from Stanway Rovers, Well Played to them! It made a nice change to play against a clean, organised, footballing side, who just got on with it. We wish Stanway all the best for the Final, and thank them for their kind Hospitality.
Team: Matt Harper (Michael Green), Jack Edwards, Nick Carpenter (cap), Connel Dunlop, James Burgess, Dean Etchells (Zef Vata), Jack Payne, Luca Frankis (Sam Gross), Mark Laing, Mike Marsh, Jack Williams.
Billericay Town Ladies beat AFC Kempston away 1-4 in the League this afternoon with goals from Lisa Robins, Kerry Oldham, Lisa Silverton and Kiran Hare. Billericay Ladies were leading the match 3-1 at half time. Billericay were pleased to come away from the fixture with all 3 points against a hard working AFC Kempston side.
