Blues welcome Staines to New Lodge for must win game
It’s a make or break week for the Blues this week as they go into 2 games that could either see them climb out of the bottom 3 of the Conference South or consign themselves to a final week battle to beat relegation back to the Ryman League.
Manager Craig Edwards saw his depleted squad well beaten by Salisbury City at New Lodge on Saturday and will be hopeful of patching them up in a final throw of the dice for survival.
Rob Swaine suffered a knee injury during Saturday’s game which meant he had to leave the action before the end of the 90 minutes. Chris Wild managed to complete the game with groin injury as did Jay May who also managed to complete the game despite being ill with a virus in addition to his ongoing groin complaint.
Edwards will monitor all 3 players up until kick off in a game that sees Blaine Hudson’s last appearance for the Blues on loan before his return to Cambridge Utd.
17th placed Staines lost at Tonbridge Angels on Saturday and Manager Marcus Gayle describes the game as ‘A massive game for us, our cup final’
Kick off is at 19.45
Admission is £12 for adults, £8 for concessions and £3 for under 16’s.
