Billericay will go into the Bank Holiday Monday clash at Tonbridge with renewed vigour after their 4-1 victory over Hayes & Yeading.

Billericay suffered a knockout blow during stoppage time in this entertaining County cup semi final match to deny them another cup final. The young Blues started well and created some good chances whilst having the better of the first half and nearly took the lead when Declan Rydings hit the bar. Rydings then had a shot well saved before the home side broke and scored on the stoke of half time. The second period was end to end football until Tom Tadese hit a deserved equaliser, and then there only looked like one winner as the Blues dominated, but as extra time beckoned, a long clearance wasn't dealt with allowing Thurrock to avenge their defeat to the Blues in the League Cup semi.

Billericay Town Ladies entertained Colchester Town LFC at New Lodge securing an important 3 points with a 4-1 victory.

Billericay started well and had a first half goal ruled out, but continued to dominate throughout and although they failed to to convert their chances, things look good with the young crop of players coming through to add to the 18's

Having a minimum of 13 games to fit in with five weeks of the season remaining, the young Blues fielded a mixture of U18's and U17's players in this league match which was played on Saturday evening.

It was a May-day at Billericay on Saturday despite the unseasonal weather as the big frontman’s second-half brace inspired the Blues to a vital home win. Later in the evening the Clubhouse was packed to support midfielder Craig Edwards’ benefit night.

After the Blues home fixture with Hayes, Billericay Town Under 18s will host Barking U18s in a league fixture. The game kicks-off at 6.30pm. The recent weather has given the Under 18s a fixture pile-up as they chase the their league title.
