Billericay Town's home Conference South league fixture with Boreham Wood has been put back 24 hours to WEDNESDAY 27th March (KO 7:45pm). The clubs discussed matters early on Saturday, taking into account ground and weather conditions and the weather forecast for the next few days. Both clubs agreed that it was very important to play the match before the Easter weekend. All advice suggested there was little chance of the game being played on Tuesday. It was agreed therefore that to provide certainty for supporters, players and match officials it was better to move the game back 24 hours to give the maximum opportunity for the game to be played, thereby avoiding the logistical difficulties caused by calling off on Tuesday and then trying to re-arrange the game for the following day.

Goalkeeper Kevin Scriven signs from Sutton Utd where he was Player of the Season in 2010. Kevin can count Farnborough and Havant & Waterlooville among his former clubs.

Defender Blaine Hudson arrives on loan from Cambridge Utd. Blaine has played over 20 games for Cambridge's 1st team.

In addition, the Blues have also signed Midfielder Bai-Mas Lettejellow from Bishops Stortford.

The Blues make the journey to Farnborough on Saturday for a game that sees the start of the final 10 games of the season that will seal their fate in the Conference South.

Victory at Cherrywood Road is vital and Craig Edwards team need to recover quickly from Tuesday evening’s loss to Sutton Utd, a defeat which boss Edwards found hard to take.

‘We’ve had some bad results recently at Havant and Dorchester, but Tuesday was as poor as we have been and totally unacceptable’ he said.

Billericay Town Ladies reached the semi-final of the Eastern Region League Cup when they defeated Norwich City reserves 2-1 on Sunday.
