Billericay bowed out of this seasons FA Trophy after tasting defeat for the first time in seven games at Ryman Premier league leaders Sutton United.

Sutton took an early lead when Ian Cousins was adjudged to have fouled Craig Dundas in the area, Andy Forbes duly obliged from the penalty spot. Bertie Brayley and Junior Dadson then both forced spectacular saves from the home keeper as the Blues took a grip of the game. But on the stroke of haf time, Cousins was again penalised for a foul in the area and Andy Forbes banged home his second penalty of the half.

Shortly after the break an Anthony Robinson header put the Blues back in contention. Billericay were dominant and Sean Bonnett-Johnson almost snatched a deserved equaliser when his shot thundered back off the bar. In search of parity, the Blues left gaps at the back which Andy Forbes capitalised on and bagged his hat-trick. New signing Seb Scoburgh then slotted home to set up an exciting finale. But it was an ex-Blue Bradley Garness-Woods who finished the scoring off with a fine strike in the dying moments of the game.
