The Blues notched up a 2-0 victory at old rivals Heybridge Swifts as they recorded their second successive pre-season victory.

A first half brace from Leon McKenzie was enough to secure the win in a half that was largely dominated by the Blues. The second half saw multiple changes with chances at both ends, most notably Courtney White being denied a certain goal when the referee failed to implement the advantage rule and pulled play back for a foul on Ryan Adams.
