Thursday night saw a young Town team bow out in the 4th Round of the Isthmian League Cup, to what was pretty much a full strength Sittingbourne side. Mindful that the Blues had three games in a week and need to concentrate on their league campaign, Blues Boss Statham selected only Oates, Street, Cleaver and Marsh from squad that had lost to Maidstone on Tuesday night, with Russell Pond also returning after missing that game.
BILLERICAY bowed out of this season’s League Cup when a youthful but spirited Blues side went down 2-0 at high flying Concord Rangers on Thursday night.
Having beaten league leaders Dartford just 48 hours previously and with a huge league game at home to Harrow on Saturday, Blues boss Brian Statham rang the changes and utilised his squad. Ashley Dumas started his first game since December with Gareth Street and Dave Wareham getting a much needed 90 minutes.

Billericay reached the third round of the Championship Manager Cup on Tuesday night with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Ryman Division One North side Leyton.
The Blues will now travel to another Division One North side Concord Rangers where they will get the chance to avenge last seasons FA Trophy defeat inflicted on them by the Island based side.

Billericay suffered semi-final disappointment in the league cup on Saturday. After a first half in which a patched up team gave a good account of themselves, and Jo Flack missed a penalty, Billericay went down to two second half goals as Tilbury reached the final.
