AFC Sudbury won 7-0 away at Romford in the Preliminary Round of the F.A. Trophy yesterday, earning £2000 and the right to host Billericay Town in the 1st Qualifying Round.

The game will take place on Saturday 17th October, kick off 15:00. We are hoping to run a coach to the game - see the separate article for details.

Blues looking for home comforts

After a disappointing month on the road, culminating in Town's FA Cup defeat at Chesham, Billericay return to New Lodge on Saturday for a home game against Ashford Town (Middx).

Blues boss Brian Statham will have spent the last week calling on all his managerial and playing experience as he works to rectify his team’s poor start to the season. That work continued on Wednesday evening as a strong reserve team beat Brentwood Town 3-1 at New Lodge.

Our away league fixture at Maidstone United on Saturday 10th October has been postponed, since Maidstone will be playing in the F.A. Cup that day.

To take its place we have arranged a friendly with Braintree Town, which will take place at Cressing Road, kick off 15:00.
