Dave McSweeney will be back in a blue shirt next season, whilst Danny Green has secured a big move to League 2 side Dagenham & Redbridge on a 3-year contract.
Speaking on the moves, Craig Edwards said: "I'm delighted to have Macca back. I phoned him after Steve gave me the job and he asked where I was. I replied 'Where you should bloody be, at Billericay!!'. He is glad to be back and will big a big asset for us next season. He was my captain when I had him at Southend United as a youngster. I am very pleased for Danny Green. He looks a good prospect and he is going to a great club for bringing through youngsters from non-league football. John Still rang me to apologise for signing him virtually as soon as I got here. He also kindly agreed to bring Dagenham & Redbridge over for a pre-season friendly."
