Billericay Town are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Micah Hyde. Micah, 35, has made over 500 Football League appearances, as well as earning 16 caps for Jamaica. Last season he was Barnet's captain.

Micah started out at Brimsdown Rovers, playing alongside David Beckham, and went on to play for Cambridge United (106 apps), Watford (252 apps), Burnley (102 apps), Peterborough United (64 apps), and Woking (4 apps) prior to joining Barnet.

Micah rejected better pay deals to join us. He said he "liked the way we do things and has heard good things about the club".
