Under 18s win League Cup Final

Blues U18s 3-1 East Thurrock U18s

The young Blues regained the League cup after a dominant display in an entertaining match at Potters Bar.

Billericay  started bright and forced two early corners. From Rydings second corner on 3 minutes, East Thurrock failed to clear and James Shadwell fired home from six yards. The Blues continued to dominate and they extended their lead after 30 minutes. Harry Skinner finished off a great passing move with a lethal shot into the far corner.

Ten minutes into the second half the game seemed all over as Josh Bardouleau pounced onto a mistake in Utd's defence and although his initial shot hit the post, the Blues striker reacted quickest to fire home the rebound. East Thurrock to their credit kept on going and hit a consolation goal, but victory was never in doubt for the young Blues
