Billericay Town v Dulwich Hamlet

The two clubs that have spent much of the season in the top two spots end 2017 facing each other at The AGP Arena.
The Blues travelled to Champion Hill back in August having beaten Lowestoft Town 2-1 the previous Tuesday.
Billy Bricknell gave Town the lead, his first of two goals that day but the match will be remembered for Jake Robinson’s goal which he scored from well within his own area, capping Billericay’s 3-1 victory.
The Met Office are predicting heavy rain for most of Friday and Saturday mornings.
Dulwich Hamlet was formed in 1893 and has been members of the Isthmian League since 1907.
They won the F.A. Amateur Cup four times, the first being in 1920. The Isthmian League title has been won five times by the club, the most recent being in 1978.
The Blues visited Champions Hill in March 2017 lat season. A huge crowd of 2,805 witnessed goals from Adam Cunnington, Joe Ellul and Jake Robinson give the visitors a 3-0 victory. This was Billericay’s first victory at Dulwich since 2001.
Three days later Dulwich visited Essex on a Tuesday night and returned the favour, leaving with a 2-0 victory in front of an attendance of 1,305.
It appears that the Dulwich and Billericay first met on 4 October 1980 for an F.A. Cup Second Round Qualifying match at Champions Hill. Clair Darmudas scored for Town as a crowd of 1,011 saw Isthmian Premier Dulwich beat Isthmian One Billericay 2-1.
The first league meeting between the two took place the following season on 22 February 1982 at New Lodge. The match ended goalless.
A month later the return leg was played in Dulwich with the hosts winning 5-0.
Dulwich ended the season in 14th with Town three places, and three points below them.
Visiting fans travelling by train will find two taxi ranks outside the station. A Cab journey to the ground should cost around £5.00.
Alternatively the High Street is a short walk from the train station and is home to several pubs, restaurants and café’s. The High Street is 10-15 minute walk from the ground.
For those driving to the match there is secure parking available for £5.00, or street parking is limited along Tye Common Road.

Fans are asked to get to the ground in plenty of time, as tickets will need to be purchased from the ticket office prior to entering the ground.

The ‘Town Crier’, the official matchday magazine, is available inside the ground for £3.00.
50/50 tickets are available from inside the ground for £1.00. Half the money raised goes to the holder of the winning ticket, with the other half going to the club.
