Tonbridge Angels v Billericay Town
Isthmian League Premier Division. Monday 1 January 2018, 3:00pm.

The Angels and The Blues will meet for the first time since last seasons League Cup Final.

On Boxing Day Tonbridge travelled to Kent rivals Folkestone Invicta. The Angels took a first half lead but the hosts scored three times in the second half to claim all three points.

On Saturday they were on the road again, this time travelling in to north Essex to face Brightlingsea Regent.  They left Brightlingsea with a very good 3-0 victory.

The Met Office is predicting rain in Tonbridge on Sunday morning and again on Monday afternoon.

Tonbridge arranged a pitch inspection for 9:00am on Monday morning and passed the pitch as safe to play on.

Tonbridge FC was formed in 1947 and joined the Southern League, joining the Isthmian League in 2004. A second place finish in 2011 gave The Angels a place in the Conference South. They spent three seasons at this level until they were relegated back to the Isthmian League.

It appears that Billericay Town and Tonbridge Angels first met in 1998 for an FA Cup 2nd Round Qualification match, whilst The Angels were still members of the Southern League South Division.

Town ran out 4-0 winners thanks to goals from Battram (2), Adekola and Ridout.
