Following a short, but thorough, process – we are delighted to announce that Jody Brown is to be appointed as our new men’s first team manager. Jody brings a wealth of both experience and contacts, following spells at Dagenham & Redbridge, Heybridge Swifts, Concord, Welling and Grays. He immediately impressed us with his energy, attitude and his commitment to getting the team back on the right track.

Jody will be appointing an experienced assistant manager in due course, but will also be joined by :-

Steve Pitt as Football operations and recruitment manager. Steve has a great deal of National League South knowledge from his 5 years in a similar role with Chelmsford.

James Robinson as first team coach. James is an ex Billericay player and also a prolific goal scorer throughout his playing career. Welcome back to BTFC James.

Jody, and his staff, will take the reins from Monday October 11th. In the meantime, we would like to pay tribute to Danny Brown and Ash Goss (coach) who are having their second spell of managing the team on an interim basis. They have worked tirelessly this week to prepare the team for our trip to Dulwich and will manage the team for this fixture.

We would ask you all to continue to get behind Danny and the team tomorrow and also to welcome Jody and his staff to the club. It’s time to get this season back up and running. Come on you Blues!
