Hendon A-A Billericay Town

Having started the bright of the two sides Billericay looked a good bet to score.  The pressure was all with the visiting side and Chris Assombalonga had the first shot of the match, which was well held by the home keeper.

With ten minutes gone Hendon broke against the run of play and took the lead.  Twenty minutes later they doubled that lead with the visiting fans at the opposite end of the pitch bemused as to what had happened.  The fog had grown thicker as the evening went on and every time the ball crossed the half way line it, and the chasing players, disappeared.

Eventually the referee spoke with his officials and took everyone off the pitch.  He waited for 15-20 minutes to see if the fog lifted but with no change the match was abandoned.
