Age 27 (18 April, 1991)          Height 5ft 9ins (1.75M)

Previous Club:  Dagenham & Redbridge     Born: St. Albans

Jake joined BTFC in July 2018 having previously played for National League side, Dagenham & Redbridge. With over 400 appearances at either League Two or National League level, he brings extensive football experience at a higher level. Jake has 5 U-21 caps for Wales gained in 2011-12 & also represented England ‘C’.

Jake is comfortable at left-back or pushed further forward onto the left-wing. At times, during his career, he has also been used in midfield. He offers BTFC flexibility in a variety of roles although he looks very well suited in the full-back or wing-back role. Has excellent set-piece delivery, an eye for a pass, and has been a regular penalty-taker at previous clubs.

Jake spent time in the youth system at Watford before signing for Luton Town in July 2007. He was handed his first team debut, aged 17, on the final day of the 2007-08 campaign. Established as a first team regular from 2008-09, he would make 334 appearances and score 31 goals for the Hatters over an eight-season spell. After Jake had experienced Conference Premier play-off final defeat in May 2012, he would help Luton return to League football as Champions in 2014-15. 2015-16 was to be his last season at Luton when his contract was not renewed.

In May 2016, Jake headed to National League side, Eastleigh, who were in the process of re-building after a number of player departures. By January 2017, after 15 appearances, the arrival of new manager, Martin Allen, would see Jake depart for Dagenham & Redbridge where he re-joined former Luton manager, John Still. Although a minor knee operation hampered his start, he made 45 appearances during his 18 month stint with the National League side. Financial problems at the Daggers saw Jake’s contract not renewed on expiry in June 2018.

For the 2017-18 season, Jake decided to accept an offer from BTFC.

New signing for 2018-19. No previous appearances.
