Hullbridge Sports are occupants of the Isthmian League Division One North and finished in 16th place last season. They are managed by Robert Moore and Stephen Southgate and those two will be key as The Bridge look to climb the table next season.

Hullbridge play their home games at Lower Road which has a capacity of 1,500. They were founded in 1945. Hullbridge were promoted from the Essex Senior League to the eighth tier of English Football in the 2018/19 campaign which saw them earn 87 points. In the following season, Hullbridge finished in 16th place with just under 30 games played, due to the league being ‘null and void’ because of the pandemic. Gabriel Ipanga Mbambo and Henry Lukombo were both on loan at The Bridge last season, so they could see a few familiar faces as both sides meet in Billericay Town’s first pre-season game.
