Jordan Parkes is a Billericay player!
We are delighted to announce we have secured the services of Jordan Parkes!
Hemel’s Club captain and legendary player, Parkes has played a pivotal role at Hemel throughout his time there, described as a midfield maestro Jordan made into the National Leagues Team of the season with his solid performances for Hemel, Parkes is also a well known free kick specialist, scoring his 100th goal for the club from a free kick in a 1-0 win over Dulwich Hamlet back in December.
Jordans departure left many Hemel fans in shock and as soon as his release was made public Harry and Glenn got down to buisness to secure his signature.
Harry Wheeler had this to say on his new signing,
”Delighted to have Jordan come on board with us. I’ve followed Jordan’s career since his Watford days and have tried to sign him a couple of times.
He’s more than proven at this level and is a player that not only will bring alot of quality on the pitch but also bring a professionalism to the group, to the dressing room and a strong desire to win”
We briefly spoke to Jordan who had this to say on his move to the AGP
”Since the decision had been made that it was time for me to move on from Hemel, I had numerous conversations with various managers. Having spoke with Harry and knowing how Billericay play, I felt that their style of play would suit my attributes.I’ll be looking to continue my goal scoring form from midfield and have scored some speculative goals and free kicks in my time at Hemel,
I’m hoping that the Billericay fans will enjoy my performances and commitment as much as the Hemel fans did and I will ensure that I give everything on and off the pitch to make this season as successful as possible.”
Welcome to Billericay Jordan!
