You have joined Billericay Town after a spell at Margate, how pleased are you to sign on the dotted line?

‘I am very pleased to get this deal done, it’s a massive club with great backing, management and ambition, so, it was a no-brainer to be a part of!

What was the key influence in you wanting to make the move to New Lodge?

When I spoke with Dan Brown, he was aware of the different offers I already had from even teams in the league above. But for me it wasn’t about the level, it was about what was best for my development. The manager is a top guy and a very honest, down-to-earth person and to the point, you don’t get many managers like this. In addition, he analysed my personal performance, weaknesses and strengths which made me confident in believing that I will not only achieve things but will better my game.’

Before you joined Billericay, you were at the likes of Welling United, East Thurrock United and Maldon & Tiptree, how important do you feel those clubs were to help you become the player you are now?

‘My past club experiences have helped mould me into not just the player but the person I am. I‘m a firm believer in your experiences being your best teacher. I have learnt so much playing so many games at different levels in non-league and I just want to keep learning to get better and to hopefully keep climbing the football ladder.’

How excited are you to get pre-season underway after signing for the club?

‘I am very excited to get pre-season underway with some very good games scheduled! Pre-season is always the time to prepare properly, and I can’t wait to get stronger and fitter!’

What are you hoping to achieve here at BTFC next season?

‘The manager is building a very strong, experienced team so the club’s ambition is pretty much in line with mine which is promotion! This is very possible if we as a team apply ourselves properly!’
