We are sad to report that, following a break-in during the early hours of Saturday morning, our pitch has sustained damage from two vehicles that were driven around the playing surface.

This coupled with the recent heavy rain has resulted in today’s game being postponed.

The incident has been reported to Essex Police and CCTV footage has been obtained.

The pitch damage will be swiftly rectified. The Billericay Town family is bigger that incidents of this nature.

We would like to thank Weymouth F.C. for their understanding in this matter and the date for the re-arranged fixture will be announced as soon as it is confirmed.

Anyone that has any information regarding the identity of those responsible for this damage can pass their information on to the police by visiting their local Police Station, calling 101 or by visiting the Essex Police website.

If you wish to report information anonymously you can do so by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
