Billericay Town are pleased to announce the signing of Paul Konchesky.

The 35-year-old left back from Barking, London joins from League One Gillingham having started his professional career with Charlton Athletic where he made 149 appearances. He later joined West Ham United, scoring a goal in the 2006 FA Cup Final against Liverpool.

Paul made two appearances for England, the first against Australia in 2003 whilst still with Charlton. He came off the bench for the second half as England lost 3-1. His second and last international cap came during his time with The Hammers when he appeared in a 3-2 friendly victory in Geneva against Argentina.

Konchesky also played for Fulham, Liverpool and Leicester City with loan spells at Tottenham Hostpur, Nottingham Forest and QPR.
