It has been announced that winger Quentin Monville and midfielder Abs Seymour were released last night.
Quentin made the step up two levels from Clapton and settled straight in to the first team. A pacey winger with the ability to beat a man and put a great cross in to the box Quentin made 28 appearances this season, scoring four goals including a double in the FA Cup at Brightlingsea Regent.
Unfortunately Quentin’s season has recently been hampered by a knee injury, keeping him out for weeks.
Abs joined on Christmas Day 2016 from London-based AFC Hornchurch and made his debut in the 2-1 Boxing Day victory at Canvey Island. He made 12 appearances in his time with the club, scoring twice, including the opening goal in The Blues 6-0 home victory against Needham Market.
Both players made a great impact in their time playing for Billericay Town and they will be a great addition to which ever team they join in the future.
Everyone at Billericay Town would like to thank both Quentin and Abs for their time and hard work whilst with the club and wish them good luck for the future.
