The club are delighted to confirm exciting forward Richard Asamoah has extended his contract at New Lodge for the 2024/25 season.
He made 47 appearances in his first season in Essex following his arrival from Waltham Abbey last summer and notched four goals in an impressive campaign for the 21-year-old. This included a handful of eye-catching strikes, most notably in the final game of the season with a thunderous strike from distance in a 5-3 victory over Margate.

Goalkeeper Sam Donkin signed for the Blues on 11th June 2024 from Leiston.
For the past five seasons, the 24-year-old has turned out for Leiston on over 150 occasions in East Suffolk. In the 2022/23 campaign, Donkin made 49 starts and kept 13 clean sheets which saw them hand him a two-year contract extension last summer. Leiston finished in 14th place in the Isthmian Southern Premier Central last term.
He has previously played for St. Albans City and Biggleswade Town.
