Billericay Town v St. James’ Swifts

This weekend we welcome Northern Irish footballSt. James’ Swifts to the Borough of Basildon, who visit us from Northern Ireland.

There are three matches on the day. The first team play Swifts first team at AGP Arena whilst the Under 21’s and Ladies Teams will play at the Basildon Sports & Leisure Club.

History
The Swifts were only formed in 2010 and were competing in the Belfast and District Football League, which they quickly ascended through.

They have now been granted Intermediate status and joined the Ballymena and Provincial Football League, the fourth level of the Northern Irish football pyramid, two below the Northern Irish football league.

AGP Arena
First Team, 5:00pm

Visiting fans travelling by train will find two taxi ranks outside the station. A Cab journey to the ground should cost around £5.00.

Alternatively the High Street is a short walk from the train station and is home to several pubs, restaurants and café’s. The High Street is 10-15 minute walk from the ground.

For those driving to the match there is secure parking available for £5.00, or street parking is limited along Tye Common Road.

The clubs address is AGP Arena, Blunts Wall Road, Billericay, Essex CM12 9SA.

Admission
Admission prices to New Lodge are:
· Adults £6.00
· Under 18s £2

The ‘Town Crier’, the official matchday magazine, is available inside the ground for £3.00.

50/50 Tickets
50/50 tickets are available from inside the ground for £1.00. Half the money raised goes to the holder of the winning ticket, with the other half going to the club.

Basildon Sports and Leisure Club
Under 15’s and Ladies, 1:00pm

The EJA Under 15’s and Ladies Teams will be playing against the equivalent sides from St. James’.

Both matches will kick-off at the same time and will be hosted at the Basildon Sports and Leisure Club on Gardiners Way, Basildon SS14 3AP.
