Billericay Town 1 Leyton Orient 2
Pre-Season Match. Saturday 29 July 2017.

Town were beaten this afternoon by a very strong Orient side. Jermaine Pennant made his first appearance in a Town shirt and the new look stadium saw it’s first match.

It wasn’t until the visitors were 2-0 up that Town came in to the match with Sam Deering becoming increasingly influential.

It was Deering that pulled a goal back for Town, scoring a diving header from Jermaine Pennant’s cross.

Town continued their possession after the break. Jake Robinson came off the bench and hit the bar with a header and saw two shots go narrowly wide.

Orient also hit the woodwork; their effort came from a free-kick.
