HISTORY
Weymouth were formed in 1890 and joined the Western League before switching to the Southern League and then became founder members of the Alliance Premier League, now called the National League, for the 1979-80 season. They finished as runners-up.
In 1950 they reached the third round of the F.A. Cup by beating Hereford United 2-1. They were drawn away to Manchester United, where they were beaten 4-0.
In 1962 they went one better and reached the fourth round, only to lose 2-0 at Preston North End.
The Terras were relegated from the top level of non-league football in 1989. They returned in 2006 for three seasons and were relegated again the season later to the Southern League.
They reached the Fourth Qualifying Round of the F.A. Cup during the 2014-15 season where they were beaten by Braintree Town. During the previous round they visited New Lodge for the first ever meeting between the two clubs. The Terras left with a 1-0 victory.
The last meeting was also at New Lodge, a National League South match during November 2019. The Terras went ahead on the hour but Jake Robinson equalised 10 minutes later.
